Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services in GE Renewable Energy Team.

Candidate will be working on the development of web applications using Front-End technologies (Angular, JS, HTML5, CSS, Node JS, NestJS) Micro services Rest APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cloud based product technical architecture reviews.
  • Must have worked and be conversant with Agile Methodologies.
  • Design Architecture during discovery, validate UX mock-ups technically.
  • Responsible for technical approaches for the sprints.
  • Develop high quality code adhering to standard design patterns.
  • Capable of researching and exploring new technologies and their implications within projects.
  • Strong and Adaptive team player.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline or equivalent.
  • Preferably 6+ years of experience as a full stack software developer.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, experience in Linux environment.
  • Experience in working on a Test Driven (TDD) Agile Software development cycle will be a plus.
  • Expert in Angular, HTML5, NodeJS, NestJS/Express.
  • Relational and NoSQL DBs (PostgreSQL, TimeScaleDB).
  • Test Framework – Jest.
  • Expert in developing UI applications using Angular/Typescript/JavaScript/SASS/CSS.
  • Strong understanding in containerizing microservices using Docker.
  • Good understanding of DevOps CICD tools – git, Jenkins, Sonar, Coverity, Lint, Dockers etc.
